Not Guilty Attempted Murder & Firearms Central Criminal Court Old Bailey 2024.
We recently successfully defended a multi-handed, eight week trial involving allegations of attempted murder and possession of firearms and ammunition with intent to endanger life at the Old Bailey. The case involved the alleged sale of a hand gun and an attempted murder. The attempted murder was alleged to be a revenge attack with a shotgun for a serious knife assault which occurred during the sale of the hand gun. This firm acted for the first defendant who was charged with attempted murder and four counts of possession of firearms and ammunition with intent to endanger life. The case involved detailed consideration of mobile phone cell site evidence and number plate recognition evidence. The CPS and the police threw a lot of resources into the prosecution and were determined to secure convictions. Despite this, our client was acquitted. Our client was represented by our Solicitor Jonathan Lynn and Warwick Aleeson of 25 Bedford Row Chambers.
