Not Guilty Private Client Charged With Racially Aggravated Assault Road Rage 2024

Our private client was found not guilty after he was charged with racially aggravated assault following a road rage incident. If convicted the court may have disqualified from driving on a discretionary basis.

We successfully defended a client who was a man of good character, who often acted as a professional witness in court, who had been accused of racially aggravated assault at St Albans Crown Court.  The case involved a dispute that arose at a petrol station and an allegation that our client had assaulted a male whilst using racist language.  A conviction would have resulted in serious consequences for our client, but he was acquitted on all counts.  Our James O’Donnell was the instructing solicitor and Warwick Aleeson from 25 Bedford Row was instructed counsel.
