Mr. A was convicted on 3 counts namely, Racially Aggravated Public Order, Possession of an Offensive Weapon and Assault by Beating.
Mr. A was unrepresented at the police station and at court at his first hearing. He made admissions to the offensive weapon charge. At Court. Mr. A was not represented at the trial and was prohibited from personally cross examining the complainant.
