Community Resolution - Outraging Public Decency 2023
Community Resolution- Luton Magistrates’ Court March 2023
Our client was arrested and charged for an act of outraging public decency following an incident in a cemetery during a night out in the county of Bedfordshire.
The client instructed us after charge and a thorough examination of the case was conducted and advice provided to the client. Representations were prepared by our team for the matter to be dealt with by an out-of-court disposal for criminal damage as opposed to outraging public decency. Upon review of the case the Crown Prosecution Service offered the client a community resolution for Criminal Damage following our representations.
If the client was convicted of outraging public decency he would have lost his job and additionally would have impacted his company which was tendering for contracts. The community resolution for criminal damage has allowed the client to continue his day job and pursue his business.
