R v LM Kingston Crown Court - 2019 - Conspiracy to steal high value motor vehicles - acquittal after trial
Defendant acquitted following trial of conspiracy to steal high value motor vehicles.
All other defendants pleaded guilty. It was the Crown’s case that our client was the ringleader in a large scale conspiracy to steal high value motor vehicles and transport them abroad. The case consisted of over 10,000 pages of telephone evidence, ANPR and tracker evidence which were all meticulously considered by JD Spicer Zeb Solicitors. The Crown’s expert evidence was cross examined by defence counsel, Sebastian Gardiner of 25 Bedford Row, who argued that the evidence wasn’t sufficient to show that our client had any involvement in the alleged conspiracy.
