R v DH - Bristol Crown Court - 2018 - high value motor vehicle theft - acquittal after trial.
Large scale conspiracy to handle stolen goods involving high-value motor vehicles stolen from around the UK.
The trial lasted four weeks and involved 7 defendants. Our client was acquitted on a unanimous verdict by the Jury when 5 other Defendants either pleaded guilty or were found guilty and received custodial sentences. The preparation for this case involved JD Spicer Zeb considering thousands of pages of telephone evidence and locating a defence witness who proved to be pivotal to the defence case.
