Not Guilty conspiracy Kidnap and GBH Harrow Crown Court 2021

Our client was charged with conspiracy to commit GBH and false imprisonment. We fought and secured bail for him. The prosecution wished to proceed to a full trial and we made an application to dismiss which was successful in relation to the false imprisonment charge. The court rejected the conspiracy dismissal application. We persisted with his case and we subsequently made detailed oral and written representations to the crown prosecution service who were forced to accept that our client's case was strong and should not be proceeded with. We secured bail and a not guilty and come for our client. If convicted a sentence in excess of 10 years imprisonment would have been imposed given the gravity of the case and facts.
