Failing notify driver details S172 Road Traffic Not Guilty 2021

James O’Donnell represented a very well known music artist charged with 3 counts of failing to nominate a driver under S172 Road Traffic Act and driving whilst disqualified. With a thoroughly prepared defence we were able to successfully argue that our client couldn’t have practicably responded and was, therefore, found not guilty. Our expert road traffic barrister was also able to argue special reasons in regards to one count of driving whilst disqualified where our client had already pleaded guilty and this resulted in no penalty points being endorsed on our client’s licence.
