Possession with intent to supply a Psychoactive Drug 2021
Conditional discharge obtained
James O’Donnell represented a young female charged with possession with intent to supply nitrox oxide cannisters, also known as ‘hippy crack’. We were able to take detailed instructions from our client having arranged conferences to prepare her mitigation. A basis of plea was advanced limiting our client’s role and culpability. We were able to persuade the prosecution to accept our basis. Following successful mitigation our client received a sentence outside of the guidelines and was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months.
