Henry Butts

Henry joined JD Spicer Zeb in September 2024 and has already got stuck into the day-to-day tasks that are carried out by the firm. For example, instructing counsel, writing representations to the police, and carrying out client conferences.

Henry is now managing his own caseload at the firm and has been assisting solicitors and partners in dealing with publicly and privately funded work. Henry has assisted on a variety of cases, including those involving theft, assault, and sexual offences.

As an aspiring barrister, Henry graduated from The University of Manchester in 2022, with a first in Politics & International Relations. Whilst at University, Henry obtained top marks in multiple modules. He then went on to complete the PGDL at the University of Law, graduating with a Distinction. To fund the PGDL, Henry was allocated a scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn and is therefore a student member of the Inn. Alongside his academic achievement, Henry has also obtained work experience at various chambers, including 23 Essex Street, 5 St Andrews Hill, and Three Raymond Buildings.
